Shipping and Returns Policy
Shipping
We ship using Australia Post. Once a purchase is made, you will receive a confirmation email together with a tracking number. Bookholds.com is not responsible for any custom/import duties or fees.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days from the point at which you have received your product. If 30 days have gone by since you received your item, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
You can always cancel your order if we are out of stock, or if you have pre-ordered a product. You can then decide if you want to wait for the item, change the item or cancel the purchase and receive a full refund.
If eligible and you wish to return an item (please see below), please let us know via email: info@bookholds.com. Once we receive your inquiry, we will provide you with the return address.
Change of mind returns
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please note that customized products, such as personalized engraving, are not eligible for returns. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. You will be responsible for paying shipping costs for change of mind returns.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. We recommend strongly that you use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Bookholds.com is not responsible for packages getting lost on the way to us.
Faulty Returns
We endeavour to minimise imperfections that may be produced during production/handling/transport that do not affect functionality.
In the unlikely event you receive a faulty product (e.g. engraving typo) you may be asked to provide personal details as well as a picture to show the fault. These details will be used for the purpose of processing the return or exchange.
Dents, scratches, or any damage incurred through use/misuse of the product cannot be considered faulty. Shipping costs may be refunded on faulty items only if the entire order is being returned and the customer provides proof of the shipping amount.
